a room that's
always open.
no performance. no highlight reel. just a place to say how you're actually doing, at whatever hour you finally admit it.
rooms for every version of a day.
you don't have to use all of them. most people live in one or two and that's completely fine.
one prompt a day from the bot. answer in a word or a paragraph. nobody keeps score, and skipping days is not a failure.
no fixing unless you ask for it. sometimes you just need it out of your head and into somewhere that isn't your head.
got out of bed. answered the email. ate a real meal. people here will genuinely clap for it, and they mean it.
a voice channel playing around the clock. lofi, indie, soul, pop. sit in silence with other people who are also just sitting.
every issue gets its own thread. what landed, what didn't, what you're carrying. this is the comment section we actually wanted.
a name and one true sentence is plenty. lurking for three months before you post is a completely respected life choice.
a radio that plays whether or not anyone's talking.
our own bot, running 24/7 in a voice channel. drop in while you work, while you can't sleep, while you're doing dishes at 1am. no mic required. nobody will make you talk.
switch stations with a slash command. the bot reconnects itself if a stream drops, so it just keeps going.
how we keep it safe in here.
this is a mental health space that anyone might walk into on their worst day, including minors. the rules exist so people can be honest without getting hurt.
"that sounds heavy" beats "have you tried yoga." ask before you fix.
no screenshots, no quoting people elsewhere. not even the nice stuff, not without asking.
this one isn't negotiable and the bot catches most of it before a human has to.
no graphic sexual content, no detailed method talk. young people are in here.
reading counts as being here. you owe nobody a post.
we'll sit with you and we'll point you toward real help. we won't pretend to be it.
when it gets heavier than a chat.
some nights a check-in channel isn't enough. we have a dedicated care team — a separate group from the general mods, so nobody's handling a crisis in between deleting spam.
if the bot picks up on something serious, or you ask for someone directly, the care team gets pinged. they'll reach out, sit with you, and help you find the right real-world resource. they'll always tell you when they've been looped in — nothing happens behind your back.
and to be very clear: we're trained peers, not clinicians. if you're in danger right now, please use 988 or your local emergency number. we'll still be here after.
your moment.
what this month stirred up — wins, journal entries, playlists, or just something that felt real. shared with permission.
the honest q&a.
yes. no tiers, no paid roles, no premium channel. the newsletter is free and so is this. if that ever changes you'll hear it from us first, loudly.
no. a lot of people read for months before saying anything, and some never post at all. showing up quietly still counts as showing up.
13+, per discord's own terms. because younger people are here, we moderate hard on graphic content and anything that isn't safe for all ages.
yes, by humans and by a bot we built. the bot screens for slurs, degrading language and content that isn't safe for a mixed-age space, and flags anything that sounds like a crisis to the care team.
please don't wait on a chat window. call or text 988 (us), or text HOME to 741741. outside the us, findahelpline.com will find your local line. we're peer support, not a crisis service — and we'd much rather you were safe than online.
yes — moderators, care team, writers and designers. applications are open at getelvt.biz/apply.
the door's open.
come in quietly. stay as long as you want.
